To continue the work of Jesus, by the power of the Holy Spirit, to win the lost, to build believers to maturity in Christ, and to send them into kingdom service.

We seek to accomplish this task by seeking to make each of the following areas a priority in our church life (we like to call these the five pillars of the church):
 

• Evangelism

- To include an evangelistic dimension to all church activities.
- To have all members of the church make contact with non
  believers, equipped to share the Gospel.
- To organize intentional outreach events.
  

• Teaching

- For each member to be devoted to the personal study of God’s
  Word.
- To nurture all members in their faith through small group
  ministries.
- To provide Biblical, applied teaching at our public worship
  services
 

• Worship

         - To bring glory to God through obedience to His will in our lives
         - To provide public worship services that allow for the worship of God –           regardless of  age and cultural background.
 

• Fellowship

        - To be a community where people feel welcome and accepted.
        - To love, encourage and support each other to maturity in Christ.
        - To encourage every member to be a part of a small group.
 

• Service

        - To foster an atmosphere of love.
        - To serve, as a church, our world and community in addressing issues
          at variance with the Gospel.
        - To assist all members to identify their gifts.
        - For every member to be actively involved in using their gifts to serve
          one another and the wider community.

Vision Statement
 

To worship and honour God by being a true covenant (Christian) community, proclaiming His unchanging Word in a changing world.

Worship:

To provide opportunity for celebrative and reflective worship centred on God's word - for all ages and cultures.

Teaching/Nurturing:

To provide the congregation with biblical instruction and practical training to assist them in developing their spiritual gifts and nurturing them to an increased spiritual awareness and growth.

Outreach:

To provide opportunities for contact with the local and wider community to share the Gospel in word and deed, enabling people to enter into a living relationship with Jesus Christ; to address social issues which are at variance with the Gospel, seeking change through positive action.
